I don't know if you saw the 'Dog Training' programme on Channel Four on Wednesday 'It's me or the dog.'

If so you will know what silly advice was given.
Some sad owner was advised that her two totally out of control Labradors would come back to her on command if she simply lay on the ground (in the park) screaming!
DO NOT TRY THIS unless you want to wake up in a psychiatric ward.

Victoria, the so called behaviourist, failed to recognise that the root cause of all the dogs problems was that the owner treated both dogs as children and even sent them both a Get Well card plastered in kisses after she had them neutered!

As long as the owner continues to treat her dogs as humans they will always be confused, agitated and badly behaved.

The programme ended with the owner being dragged across the park on harnesses fit for a rhinoceros yelling,

"I never knew I could have such well behaved dogs."
God knows what they were like before!
